We recently partnered with destination designer firm PGAV Destinations and media experts Blooloop in an all-encompassing study on leisure attraction visitors. Using everything from generational differences in travel to visitation by attraction type, Voice of the Visitor lays out everything you need to know about leisure attraction visitors and forecasts for 2016 by attraction category. Here are some highlights:

  • The typical attraction visitor is a female, age 41 or above, who does not have a college degree and uses Facebook more than other social media.
  • Friendly staff members at an attraction matter the most to visitors (82%).
  • Theme parks have more repeat visitors (84%) than any other attraction category.
