In the trendy Instagram pictures and envious Facebook posts world we live in, it should be no surprise that Perception and appearance are key motivators for Americans when it comes to planning and booking travel experiences. That’s according to a new study from travel start-up Culture Trip. According to their data, nearly half of Americans say they want people to be impressed with their vacations, and three-quarters make decisions on where to visit based on whether the experience will give them good stories to tell. Along with wanting their trip to be aesthetically pleasing on their social media feed, travelers are also looking for adventure and want to be the first to try new places and experiences.
