Coca-Cola’s Social Media Starts Fresh

Coca-Cola started fresh on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to launch a new social media marketing campaign. The company wiped content from their social media accounts and, on World Kindness Day, posted positive, uplifting quotes in Coca-Cola’s recognizable color scheme of red, black and white. The company’s new marketing campaign is meant to reflect the brand’s focus on optimism and connection, as Coca-Cola found that its social media followers interacted highly with inspiring quotes and illustrations. Although Coca-Cola can bring back all of its archived previous Instagram posts, the brand will only bring back content that fits the message of the campaign. (Adweek, 11.13.18)
