“No-Vacation Nation” Improves

Americans are using more of their vacation days. That’s according to a recent survey conducted by GfK with U.S. Travel’s Project: Time Off. According to the report, the average American used 16.8 vacation days in 2016, up a healthy 5% from 2014. However, there is still much left on the table, with an estimated $66.4 billion lost in vacation benefits last year. Project: Time Off projects using that time/benefits could have had an overall economic impact of $236 billion for the U.S. economy. (Skift, 6.16.17)
